Virta Group was the first energy company to save 1 Megawatt of power in Ontario over 20 years ago. We have unrivalled experience with commercial, condo corporations, non-profit housing and co-ops, as well as industrial and retail stores; from local independent merchants to a 330 location nationwide chain.

In the past year, we have completed over 400 energy studies for multi-residential buildings, non–profit and for-profit corporations and have project managed numerous developments ranging from small retrofits to large Canadian multi-location projects. Our knowledge and work history has proven that we are able to repeatedly demonstrate an average annual savings of 30% - 40% in gas, 10% - 30% on electricity and 30% savings in water consumption.

Virta Group are acknowledged and approved for all rebate and incentive programs. We work closely with providers like Enbridge Gas, Union Gas, and OPA to influence the evolution of the energy efficiency movement in Canada.

Virta Group was one of the first in Ontario to have ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc.), certified BEAP (Building Energy Assessment Professional) staff.


The new OPA saveONenergy Program`s Audit Incentive requirements have been developed upon the same format as the venerated ASHRAE Audit Process.
